I'm now feeling just a tad stupid -  Pure organic is what's in my fridge and I have only just now seen  the unhom word on the carton.  Thanks so much I Love My Bimby!

Thanks nay-nay and Zebraa - homogenisation explained but, unfortunately, I don't have a Clarabelle and can't find it at the supermarket!  Do you know if it's in supermarkets Zebraa?

Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / Organic unhomogenised mil
« on: November 05, 2010, 07:55:13 am »
Hi there, can anyone tell me where to buy organis unhomogenised milk.  And what's wrong with homogenised?  I'm not sure of the process but thought it was just a means of distributing the fat evenly through the milk, whereas pasteurisation necessitates heating it to quite a hight temperature.

Thanks

Thanks so much ladies.  No they didn't give us the recipes at the cooking class - maybe they should next time.

I saw this recipe at a TM cooking class and it was delicious - can anyone help me with the details as I'm planning a Morrocan lunch on Sunday

Oops - the lid was not properly locked into place, even though I could have sworn it was!

Thanks all.

Thank you all so much for making me welcome.  This morning I thought "great - now I'll have a fabulous  Boost Juice fro brekkie", plugged in the TM, put in the ice and fruit and tried to turn the speed selector and couldn't - what fundamentally basic thing could I have left out.  Has anyone else had this experience and felt as stupid as I do??

Hi. Gertbysea - I love that name!

I really didn't introduce myself in the first post so heregoes.  I'm an almost Merry Widow living alone in Bayside Victoria so am also girt by sea!  Have recently been renovating and everything is a terrible mess so I shall concentrate on cooking and not cleaning until its all over.  I have one grownup son who is overseas right now but will be cross that I've spent more of his inheritance - at least until I impress him with the new culinary skills.

I'm new to the forum and don't get my TM until tonight - been waiting 4 days!  I went to a demo thinking there'd be no way I'd buy one and  was blown away by everyone's enthusiasm.  So, ordered one right away.  I just can't wait as I've been studying recipes on the forum and don't know which to start with - wish me luck.
