I made these again today, they are very yummy Just wanted to suggest that if you want to do a double batch, do it in two separate lots because the TMX struggled to handle a double load of this super sticky mix.

I made this yesterday, DEFINITELY halve the quantity, mine boiled over after 7 minutes, alternately possibly cook at 100 degrees rather than Varoma. I made the full mix and I had to pour half out of the jug to be able to whip it up with the butterfly too, so next time will be making a half quantity and adding a bit of vanilla for flavour.
They did turn out nice though, very yummy and didn't last long!

I made these today and they were delicious! Next time I make them I think I'll just try chucking all the ingredients in together at once. I just used cocoa and raw sugar. The cooking took a bit longer for me, I made normal size muffins which took around 35-40 minutes to cook. I also made mini muffins (with a teaspoon or so of mixture) and these took about 25 minutes in my oven. The mini muffins turned out better, they all rose nicely but the normal size ones sank in the middle. There are some lovely looking recipes on your blog MCK

Welcome to the forum Monica. You certainly sound busy. What sort of food do the children like to eat? Some of the chicken recipes on here are extremely nice.
Hmmm lets see, air??? Lol. They do eat really but it just varies so much, something I think they'll love they barely touch. Sometimes they won't eat the meal on the first night but will devour it the next night. Today I made lasagna thinking they would love it, DD had a few mouthfuls, I think DS had one ?? Kids, who knows I stopped trying to understand them years ago Hehe. The last thing I made with chicken was some chicken nuggets where I just blitzed up some bread and a few herbs in the TMX and coated the chicken pieces in oil then in the bread mix and they loved those.

Welcome to the forum Monica, I wish I had had a TMX when mine lot were young what a blessing that would have been, sadly they probably weren't invented way back then, have you tried steaming a roast of beef in the varoma and making a yummy gravy in the bowl, I was really surprised at that it was so moist.
I haven't tried that, I will have to add it to the list of things tomake, thank you

You would definitely never describe our house as boring, that's for sure. Lol
Judydawn I like your signature, it seems to be my 5 year olds motto at the moment!

Hi everyone, my name is Monica, I am a stay at home mum of four. DD is 5 and has just started full time school, DS is 3 and my boy girl twins just turned one . Life is loud crazy and lots of fun (most of the time!) at our place. I have had my tmx for a couple of years now I think? It's hard to remember life pre TMX really . I use it almost every day, but I have never really had good results cooking meat in the tmx so I will be looking for some pointers there. But I love it for everything else. It was definitely great for quick meals when the babies were smaller, I could put dinner on then sit down while it cooked and feed the babies, then fed the rest of us!

I made these today, they turned out great - lovely light and fluffy. TMX is very full with all the ingredients in and it makes around 30 average size muffins. (Or 24 biggish ones) Posting here so I don't have to keep getting my cup out when I make them *Lazy!!* 4 carrots 360g Brown sugar 290g Vegetable Oil 4 eggs 480g plain flour 10g Baking powder 10g Baking soda 45g milk 1 tsp Ginger 2 tsp Cinnamon pinch salt ETA I did a slightly healthier version today with half wholemeal flour (needed to double the amount of milk) and only 250g sugar and they still rose beautifully and taste great. I made some cashew nut cream to go with them
