How interesting. I often wonder why certain ingredients are added to recipes.

Last night I went to Tenina's cooking class at Chirnside Park and really enjoyed myself. It was such a fun night where I picked lots of tips (thanks Chookie for writing them down) and sampled some amazingly tasty food. My favourites were the stuffed peppers and Pecan Dacquoise. The kitchen where the class was held was very well equipped and had a mirrors over the demonstration bench so we could see very clearly what was going on inside the bowl. Recommended.

This bread turned out perfectly - my best one yet. It has a lovely fine crumb and my DD commented it looked just like a bought loaf. Thanks for the adaption.

Thanks for the recipe. I have a lemon myrtle in my backyard and am looking at ways to use the leaves. I flavoured some biscuits once by drying the leaves in a low oven then milling them to powder and adding to the dough. The biscuits tasted nice but had a green tinge to them. The leaves smell beautiful when crushed.

Thank you for collating all the recipe book reviews. It's making it a lot easier to check the recipe before trying it. It's also making it very tempting to buy more recipe books.

Made this tonight as we were having roast and loved it. Only two of us for tea so I froze the rest for another day. Nice to make something other than Gravox gravy. Thanks for the recipe.

This recipe tempts me to have a go at making mock rice. My DH commented the other day that since getting the TMX we are eating a lot of different things - I took it as a compliment - I think that this would be one them.
