Introduce Yourself / Not very good with Forums!
« on: February 28, 2012, 09:38:32 am »
Hi,
I joined the forum a couple of years ago and promptly lost my login details! I recently found them in an archive so I thought I'd come back and say how great it has been being able to read the posts and recipes here - many a time I've needed to make something and taken a look for some inspiration (and sat looking through recipes for hours which had nothing to do with what I was supposed to be making  :D).
I've now set my computer to remember me so I look forward to contributing!
Cheers,
Chaotic
PS - does anyone know if you can freeze vitality truffles?

Hi Rob,
I don't know if your kids will go for it - luckily mine did, we give them "ice cream" which is made from bananas, frozen fruit (normally raspberries) and yoghurt. They love it and we normally make sure there are a couple of chopped up bananas in the freezer so we can throw it together at the end of a meal. My son had quite a few allergies when he was smaller including eggs, nuts and 160b which is a food colouring in most vanilla ice creams so luckily for us this is the only ice cream he's really known but it's a great way to get fruit into them too!

Hi,
I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but as soon as mine arrived (which was over Christmas so he was at home) my husband wanted to play with my new toy too - I eventually got him out of the kitchen and had it all to myself  ;D

Introduce Yourself / Re: Hi to all the TM users!

Hi,
Got a bit side tracked with the jam - I couldn't find a TM recipe so I've got one from a website and will try and convert it as I go along - it looks fairly straight forward (famous last words?) just the fruit sugar and lemon juice so I'll try and follow the one in the book and let you know how it turns out!
We ended up using half of the cherries for crumble which was delish and I was able to zap it up in no time at all just by throwing all of the crumble ingredients into the TM and hitting the  :: button for 45 seconds.

Introduce Yourself / Hi to all the TM users!

Hi,
I've had my TM for just over a year now and have spent quite a bit of time looking at posts and hints on this site so I thought it was about time I joined and started trying to contribute too. That is after I go and look up a recipe for cherry jam!
Cheers.
