I just had a thought ... can you use the thermoserver for your bread to rise in? It might be a good answer in these cold months. Anyone tried this?

In regards to using breadmixes in the thermomix - this is the advice received from the all about bread store in Greenwood WA - most helpful -
Thermomix All of the All About Bread products can be used in a Thermomix From the label determine what size loaf you wish to make, then load your Thermomix jug – The amount of water to use is the lesser amount on the label and the water should be quite warm but not hot. Load liquids first, then flour then yeast on top. Should you be making your bread from scratch, add the water then oil, then flour and then yeast, salt, sugar and improver. Set the Thermomix on Interval for 3 minutes. When the dough is ready, remove to a bowl, cover and leave for at least one hour. Punch down. Turn the dough onto the bench and lightly shape into a round. Divide into two equal portions and shape. Or roll the dough into a rope the same length as the tin and drop it in in one piece. For rolls, divide into 12 portions. Oil tin or spray with cooking spray. Place one portion of dough at each end of the tin Allow to double in size until it reaches the top of the tin Bake for 30 minutes. If the bread appears too light in colour or not completely cooked, return the loaf to the oven for a further 5 minutes. Allow the loaf to cool on cooling rack. Those little things people do that we just can't stand even though we know they don't really matter. Please tell me I'm not the only one.
My pet hates are:
When people leave the dregs of their milk or tea in the bottom of their cup and it goes all dry and stained and yucky. When someone empties the water jug and doesn't fill it up again. When my brother does the dishes and doesn't squeeze the water out of the sponge or wipe all the bits of food from around the edges of the sink. When someone empties the milk carton and leaves it out on the bench to go smelly. When girls paint each of their fingernails a different colour.
I'm sure I have heaps more but these are just the ones that spring to mind right now. Does anyone think these are justified or am I just really petty?
You can make me feel better by sharing your own if you like
Oh dear Amy - you have started an interesting topic!! My pet hates are all of yours above, and for the rest of them - i will have to sit down and compile my list . Which may take me some time

the key to any weight loss is to look at is as a lifestyle change for the better, focusing on becoming healthier. The moment we theink of the word "DIET", we begin to feel deprived , or that we must restrict everything we love to lose weight.
So often we think of losing weight or following an eating plan as having a time frame, - if we look at it as changes to our lifestyle forever - rather than just for a specific time or until a certain function, or until we fir back into that special dress etc etc, that can make a real difference to not putting those extra kilos on again.
I lost 16.5 kilos 8 years ago, ( by doing weight watchers) and have kept it off for all of those years, as ii neverfelt that i had to miss out on anything. I have just recently manged to put back on about 4 kilos, only really due to the fact that i have become a bit lazy, stopped menu planning and gone back to a few old habits, such as mindless eating, and having portions that are way too big.
So - i would love to join your challenge and get a bit of control back.

I am a lifetime member of WW - have been at goal for 8 years - and have been a leader for nearly four years. I have just finished as a leader and am now wanting to spend a bit more time :converting WW recipes for the thermomix Unfortunately i have snuck a couple of kilos over my goal weight - something im not very proud of - so really need to get back to following the program - will be on 26 Propoints a day for a while. as i play with the WW recipes - i will post my conversions with Propoint values.

Mine were the same as Tan's. Very disappointed with them, they're like little rocks and do not taste nice at all so I didn't even bother joining them.
Tan, was your mix all crumbly before you had to roll them? I had to spend ages squeezing them to get the crumbs to join together to form a ball. I really can't believe how bad they were.
yes - the mix was quite crumbly - i thought maybe i rolled them too much to get them to stick together - and that was why they were so hard?? They really were disappointing and most of them ended up in the bin.
