Hey,

Just wondering how long would the Sundried Tomato & Capsicum Dip last in a sealed container in the fridge??? I have some that is a week old (half the batch from a party last weekend that was in a container and refridgerated straight after making). I don't want to just throw it out if it is still OK to eat, but don't want to risk dodgy food either...

Cheers

FaithHopeLove - My dough is all crumbly when I do it, but I just form it together by hand once it's done.

I also wanted to say that we have always boiled our sausages before using them in curries, stir-fry etc, so I haven't seen steaming them as anything weird.

I've been told by a few cooks you should even boil your sausages before frying, the taste is 10 times better. I have never bothered though as we rarely have sausages fried, but it makes a massive difference to the curries and stir fries I make.

I made this tonight (with a few adjustments) and it was so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so YUMMY!!!!! Even my girls ate it and they are so dang fussy!!!! My youngest licked the plate she liked it so much.

I could only get Chicken Sausages as all the others had additives so I made these changes

I used Chicken Stock instead of Beef Stock, added an extra clove of garlic and onion.
I diced the onion & garlic on Sp 5 for 3 sec first
I could get swiss mushrooms, so used button but added about 6
I added 100g of butter instead of 50g as I had added so much extra
I also used half sweet potato & half potato

The gravy was so flavoursome I could easily eat just it and the mash as the whole meal (I just may do that with the leftover for lunch tomorrow :P ;) :P)

It is very very yummy!!!!

Judy it makes 2 litres (before adding pineapple juice or lemonade) so yes it may be a little much for 1 person... hehe We got about 8 large glasses out of each batch. It is quite strong, but most of us drinking it like it that way, so if you prefer it a little weaker it would make even more

Twitter I don't think that is rude at all, they will probably appreciate it a great deal once they taste it!!!

I made these on the weekend and they were a major a hit, even the blokes were into them!!!  ;D

Ingredients

800 g Pineapple Frozen chunks
100 g sugar
150 g Midori (or Melon Liqueur)
150 g Malibu
150 g vodka
75 g Cointreau
pineapple juice or lemonade (optional)

Preparation

1. Add Sugar to bowl and mill for 10 sec on Speed 9

2. Add half the pineapple chunks. Slowly turn the speed dial to Speed 10 for 20 Sec. Use the spatula to assist.

3. Add the other half of the pineapple chunks. Slowly turn the speed dial to Speed 10 for 20 Sec. Use the spatula to assist. Scrape down the sides.

4. Add the Alcohol and mix on Speed 8 until combined (about 45 to 90 seconds). Have a taste test, if it is too strong or not sweet enough add some Pineapple juice and mix on Speed 8 until combined (about 10 seconds).

5. Pour & Enjoy....

Tip

You can also add the pineapple juice directly to the glasses so each person can adjust to their own tastes.

If you want a bit of FIZZ, you can add some lemonade instead of pineapple juice.

Thanks Judy

I've fixed the picture now, it's a tad big, sorry.

I personally prefer the thinner ones, but my girls prefer the thicker ones. The thicker ones are very much like Ritz crackers.

I did hand roll the round ones, but I have arthritis and rolling is not the best thing for me. The pasta machine definitely makes it easy.

I so love my TMX...

I made these today with Wheat Grain, and they have turned out beautifully!!!!!

I used the Pasta Machine to roll them out and made them at a few different thicknesses so I knew what I liked best.

On a few of them I brushed a tiny bit of olive oil and then ground some salt/pepper on top. MMMMMMMM perfect!!!!!

I will be doing this from now on, so much cheaper than buying them.

Really stoked at how great they look too... Plus the kids actually love them!!!
