Very well with no sugar!!

I wouldn't recommend making half a batch. Make a full batch. Way too yummy.

Don't forget to add the sugar with the yolks / corn flour / vanilla.
It isn't specified in the recipe.

I put the tarts in the oven and then realised - the sugar was still sitting on the bench.

They were still delicious! 

I love a fool proof recipe. Will def make again...maybe with the sugar next time.
