A bit of a silly question. Just want to double check.
Do you drain the canned chickpeas? For this recipe or the EDC, it doesn't say to drain it so I assume chuck it all in? Thanks in advance. 3

It's here!! *gasp*
So far I have attempted: 5 Seed Bread Butter 40 sec biscuits Apricot Sorbet Thick Broccoli and Cheese Soup None of the stuff I had planned to make because at the last second I realised I had no garlic for stock concentrate and then all the things I was going to make with said concentrate. I wasn't willing to leave my TM alone to go and get garlic, so I made other stuff yesterday. This morning I had some of the yummy seedy bread with some homemade butter! Soooooo good!! I love my TM! 4

Thank-you all! Yay everyone is so lovely and helpful
26 hours to go! Thanks Faffa; I've downloaded the iphone app 'my recipe index' which although doesn't have quantity and instructions, it does have what is in each EDC recipe. So I can make sure I have the correct veges for the stock concentrate, etc. hehe Thanks Jan, the house is still mostly clean from hosting the demo on Friday. The exception is half of the pantry spread out on the kitchen table while I am sorting things, but that should be done today. Then work tomorrow morning and picking TM up in the afternoon! *happy dance* I'm looking forward to trying the pumpkin soup knittercook! Yum yum! 5

Yay! 40 hours to go!!
It sounds like a few of us have geeky DH's I'm a bit of a nerd myself, the TM certainly seems futuristic and I just can't get enough of it It's really nice hearing from all you like minded people. A lot of people I've told cannot understand why I get so excited about the TM. It's nice to know that you were all eagerly anticipating your machines arrival and that you are still passionate about this amazing little appliance. The list making is coming along nicely. I've got lots of ice going. I think I've got everything for a batch of bread. Going to grab some fresh veges tomorrow. I've been sorting my pantry out a bit today as well. I'll have to wait till I get the EDC before I know exactly what to make but I'm hoping to have all the basics covered! 6

Thanks for the welcomes and suggestions!
I've been trying to find things to do to keep me busy so I don't think about Thermomix 24/7. Just got back from a long overdue haircut, the time always gets away from me and I don't mind my hair getting long-ish. Now I'm off to watch some Stargate with DH! 7

Great idea Thermoheaven! I am going to start a list on paper and I think the stock should go up the top!
It's fantastic soup, risotto, pasta weather at the moment! Mmmm I cannot wait!! 8

Less than 50 hours to go!
Picking up my Thermomix Wednesday afternoon, very very excited!! I'm a library worker from the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. A couple of my family members have TM31's and I hosted a demo last Friday. I've been lusting after one for 4 months now. My wonderful husband has given in to 'make me stop going on about it'. I am hoping he will learn to love it The classic question of 'What should I make first?' has been keeping me awake at night. It's a slow pleasurable torture waiting, waiting, waiting....
