What I have been doing is bookmarking my favorite recipes when I am doing my meal planning for the week.  After we try them out, if they are a "keeper" then they get copied on recipe note cards and put into my file.  The ones that we don't like so much, I delete the bookmark.  The file is growing!  :) :)  :)

Loved, loved, loved this!  My husband was kinda iffy about the potatoes...he really prefers potatoes to taste like nothing but butter and potato!  I thought the flavors in there (not to mention the little mushroom-y bits that I couldn't get out!) really brought the whole meal together.  About the only thing I would do differently is to add just a bit more cornflour to the gravy.  It was a bit thin, but delicious!  Definitely a keeper!   :D

So my forum name is one that I commonly use for forums and things.  It comes from my childhood.  My camp name, used at Girl Scout summer camp while I was a kid and then as I got older and worked there as staff, was Chanticleer.  I've always been a "mothering" type of person, and often would become the mama of the group, so was often called Chantimama.  Easy peasy!  ;)

Hello, all!  I am fairly new to the Thermomix world...have had my Thermie since March.  I love it!  It's opened up so many different menu options for me!

A little bit about me, just to let people get to know me a bit.  I live in Perth, Western Australia, and have been here since February of 2008.  I was born and raised in the US and came over here on holidays...and met the man who is now my husband after being here for 2 and a half weeks.  We've been married since 2009, and have a beautiful little girl who just turned 3 last month.  She was our little surprise present, and was the best surprise I ever received!

I have a wonderful job working for the W.A. government at the Western Australian Museum here in Perth.  I get to spend every day walking around surrounded by rocks and minerals and animals, and even some dinosaur bones!  It's a blast!

My favorite type of foods are Mexican and Italian.  I love to cook pasta and can throw pretty much anything together to make a nice sauce, or so I am told!  I am enjoying having my Thermie and cannot wait until I have a functioning oven so that I can try lovely delicious baked goods to go with all of the other yummy things we've been cooking!

Looking forward to getting to know you all and discussing the wonders of the Thermomix!   :D
