I had an amazing day in the kitchen yesterday starting with my sourdough, made marmalade, carrot cake and then a curry from scratch! All were delicious.
Look forward to learning more from the forum.

I do have a couple of questions though - Is the dough mat (sill mat??) worth purchasing? Are the any recommendations as to the best general cookbook?

Wow what an amazing appliance....I love it so much already - was given this as a gift by my family - I am a very lucky mum! I am finding it hard to go to work as all I want to do is use my new thermie. It will change they way I cook from here on in. It's so easy. Just can't wait to read and learn as much as I can - so I will be a regular here with many questions I am sure.
