I have made the chicken stock concentrate from Quirky Cooking which uses half the salt. I prefer this recipe. It is still quite salty.

Introduce Yourself / hello again from perth« on: January 14, 2012, 12:26:39 pm »
hi there, I introduced myself back in June and then lost my password. I've now found it, so here I am again. Thanks everyone for previous welcomes. My husband bought our TM and we haven't stopped using it. Today I baked bread, yesterday pizza dough, we use it just about every day. I love the additive free cooking, fresh food and speed of preparation with the TM. But then I'm preaching to the converted.
Look forward to sharing some of my own TM adventures. Totally Thermofied 4

Thanks Judy, I have the same recipe from a Swiss friend, I'm happy to see it converted for TM. Fiona

Hi there, I can't find anywhere in the book that came with the TM how to cook barley in soup - how long, what speed, temp, etc. Any help out there would be appreciated.
