I’m silly but even now that I really don’t drink, I find a glass or two of port settles my panic when it’s very windy. It’s easy, cheap medicine.
I made a fruit loaf yesterday. I soaked the fruit in hot tea for several hours.

DH and I went to the chemist, then we had visitors for the rest of the day. A kind, young man, that DH taught and built Model A speedsters with was one of the visitors. He kindly did the repairs to our shed roof after the storm the other night. DH had bought the replacement sheets but we couldn’t think of anyone we knew who was young enough to go clambering around on the shed roof. Fortunately he is only in his mid 50’s and still climbs on rooves. (Or do you say roofs now?)

My kind DH suggested fish and chips tonight. I think he may be tired of taking over dinner preparation part way through. 😀😀

I hope DD recovers soon Chookie. I didn’t do much today. We had a storm and some dreadful wind last night. I even had the Poer out.

I had a head scan this afternoon.. Just to be sure the GP said. I’m not sure if it was to check if I had a brain or to check that nothing extra was there‼️‼️‼️‼️ The lass that did it was lovely. I said I hope she found a brain, her reply was that it was on men they had problems finding them. 😀😀😀😀😀 I’m sure everything is ok but the GP keeps mentioning nasty things about age.😀😀😀😀😀

Yum Chookie. My only cooking was the making of the quick puff pastry from Cookidoo and the meat pies for dinner.

I had a KAtie type day today. Had my eyebrows done at 8.45am. Podiatrist at 9.40, a quick rush between the two. DH took the motorhome back to the dealers as it’s still leaking and because they left it out in the rain it now has mould everywhere. He then attended a NFG meeting and I took my dizzies to the Doctor. He’s pretty sure it’s balance problems in the crystals of my ear. Marina’s exercises are what he has prescribed. I have to have a head x-ray tomorrow to make sure he hasn’t missed anything. I’ll be sad when he retires as he is very thorough.

This is so true Chookie. We rarely eat out, mainly NFG lunches, and basically accept it won’t be as good as home.

Welcome back, Chookie. I'd love to hear what you thought of the Ghan.
Cookie, do you know what is causing your dizzy spells? They can be so challenging and frightening if they hit you unexpectedly, you should see if there are any exercises, etc. that will help. I went through a period like that some time ago and my doctor gave me a very simple series of exercises that were really good and helpful. If you are interested I will see if I can find them and send them over to you. Let me know. However the caveat is that you clear them with your GP first.
Thanks Marina. I’m seeing the GP on Monday.

Chookie I love anything cherry. I made some Cranberry and Clementine biscuits from Cookidoo. They taste nice, but you squash them down part way through the cooking.
