I am finally connected to the NBN but not without some problems. The cable was laid yesterday and everything was installed but the internet wouldn't connect. The problem wasn't at my end and I was told that it would be mid June before it could be fixed. That wasn't good enough so I made some phone calls today and expressed my disappointment. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with a very helpful lady who went to a great deal of trouble to find the problem. As I am not particularly technically minded it was an interesting phone call and I ended up in places in the computer I never knew existed. Finally the problem was solved and now everything is working. I can't thank that lady enough for her expertise and patience with me as she explained everything she was doing. 7
