We had our 2nd Shingles shot this morning.  The doctor said we won't need another one for 10 years, I'm not sure I will still be around then.

I've spent two days cleaning out the pantry.   I'll finish the last little bit tomorrow.

Marina, I understand about the crowds at Daylesford. We deliberately went mid week. It was pretty quiet which suited us.
Katie, don’t like the thought of DH jumping before it rolled. And snakes definitely a no no.

Tonight we enjoyed a shared meal at the Hotel. Grilled scallops, fried calamari and grilled asparagus. We shared a small Passionfruit sponge.

How on earth do you keep up with everything K Atie?  Hope your bloods and xray go OK

Chookie, glad you are enjoying Daylesford, the food sounds gorgeous.  I don't go there often as it is always heaving with visitors on the weekends (and that's the only time I am in the vicinity!).

Marina not nice at all . Take care . Chookie how nice to spend time with your friend on her birthday. We started harvest last night , so first paddock dash dinner ! I had made salads and mango salsa for the fresh Salmon!! Quick eat for me and find containers in the back of cupboard! When I got there DH was at the petrol browser with the new articulator tractor ( has belt wheels ) petrol was pouring from underneath into a large drum !! Oh my gosh so lucky he only put a bit in it . Possibly the tank is split !! Todays fix well hopefully. I’m off to get X-rays of back and bloods done for appointment next week and bonus go out to dinner with a great friend and others . I’d say that is the third thing in a short week as DS managed to jump out of the Ace ( 4 wheel buggy) and it rolled .. let’s just say he was lucky and all are shaken and lots of lectures have happened since . Then DS was moving a field bin to wash … looked down as he was moving a big handle and huge fat snake was at his feet ! He said he ran and new it was not what you were ment to do . All in one day he was told no more work that day , a very shaken up lad .

Marina, not nice. I’ll try not to make you laugh.
I’m in Daylesford, staying at the Bellinzona Hotel. My friend turns 93 today. She is on a walking frame and an inspiration. Last night we had dinner outside, by a fountain in a beautiful garden. It was mild and no mosquitoes. Unbelievable. Last time I experienced this was with RAL in France.
The staff are amazing, nothing too much trouble. My friend is a linguist and had a talk , in French, with one of our waiters . He is on a working holiday.
We are returning to the wine shop where we had lunch yesterday. We were served a beautiful platter of cheeses, cured meat, bread crackers nuts, Quince paste, Eggplant dip and dried fruit.
I forgot to mention that I bought a cooking book!!. Wholesome by Sarah Pound. sensible , easy to make recipes, with stuff we all have in the pantry.
We are only away for 2 days so will be going all out today to make the most of it.
