The pineapple sago dessert I developed hides pumpkin.  The pumpkin and pineapple blend together really well and give it lovely bright colour but you don't notice the taste of the Butternut pumpkin at all.

My children ended up eating everything - a bit of good luck and a bit of psychology!

I would offer them new veggies and if they didn't eat them, I would just say "thats OK, you are just not old enough yet. Your taste buds just have to develop more".

It was amazing how they would try it again, and it wasn't too bad and next time no problems  ;D

Clever thinking ElleG.

I guess i was lucky as my children ate EVERYTHING. My DS became a vegan at about age 22. Lucky he still loves vegetables. My D-I-L loves her Thermomix for making everything vegan.

My DD suffered from Crohns in her 40's, had part of her bowel removed and now embraces gluten free and loves her Thermomix for making all the gluten free stuff.

I just love my Thermomix because I can.

Just found this thread, and definitely going to give some of these great ideas a try, especially yours KerrynN thanks :)
I will have to get my mindset into the mode of taking the opportunity to add more veggies to a sauce when I can. I am still so new at it that I am following recipes exactly, and forgetting the power of the TMX to make "If only you knew" or "Clean out the fridge" recipes/sauces ;D
I agree Merlin, and with a 2 and 4 year old, it is really a nice feeling when you know they have had all those nutritious veggies without the time and effort of "negotiating" and increasing the stress at dinner time.  :-))
