Bread cooked in Varoma?

Hi all,
As our kitchen is being build at the moment I don't have an oven, I only have my thermo and a microwave. I miss having fresh bread and just remembered that I have seen somewhere here that it is possible to cook-bake bread in the varoma. I would appreciate it very much if anyone can tell me where to find such recipe. I have looked without success. Thanks

I have cooked bread in the varoma. I think it was a Tenina recipe. If you have a BBQ with a lid you can bake your bread in that. Have you googled cooking bread in the varoma?

Thank you JD you're a wealth of information and always there to help
Gert it is too cold at the moment to be cooking anything in the BBQ. It does sound good though, perhaps I will try that later I the year in the warm weather. Thanks

I hate bread that has been steamed. Could you borrow a bread machine or one of those round ovens..?

The steamed bread is ok for toast.

We make the steamed bread- its AMAZING! You really need to let it rise for an hour and make sure you cook it in a ceramic/china bowl in the varoma. Good luck!

I suppose it is up to individual taste. I got rid of my bread maker when we bought the TM and I think people who have the bread makers use them for themselves.
Joon, thank you I will give it a try.
