Recipes from demonstrations
« on: July 02, 2012, 10:00:27 am »
The lady who did the demo I attended on Thursday night cooked two really yummy dishes and I want the recipes! I just don't know where to start looking for them, especially since I can't actually remember what the recipes were called... :-[ I do remember what was in them though :)
I was wondering whether the recipes are out of Thermomix cookbooks?

I thought a question like this may have already been asked on the forum, but I couldn't find anything when I searched. So I'm sorry if I'm repeating a question :-))

What sort of things were they Amy?

One was a cous cous salad with chicken and pumpkin in it. That was REALLY yummy, I had about three bowls of it :-))

The other thing was a soup, and I remember she showed everyone the chickpeas she had ground for it. Can't remember what else was in it though... maybe turnip?

Sorry, I know I'm not being very helpful :-[ I was a bit distracted at the demo because I met a lady there who I used to know and we got chatting and she asked me if I wanted to play in her band. So I forgot about the cooking for a few minutes :-))

Was it a Varoma demo?  I know they only give those recipes out when you host a demo - the lemon pudding is apparently delicious and Uni kindly shared the recipe.

I have the recipe cards for those dishes Amy, I'll type them up tomorrow when I'm on the computer, too hard to do on the phone. Is it ok to publish the recipes on the forum, do you think?

There's nothing wrong with sharing recipes with friends deedub but it is best to pm them with the recipes to keep everyone happy :-))

I agree with Judy re the pm. You are not publishing them, just sharing with a friend.
