Tried the microwave method today, a winner. Thanks. When the water got cool I removed the dough and zapped the water. It filled the oven with steam.

Just put some scrolls precariously positioned on top of dishes in a recently finished (and therefore steaming) dishwasher
Worked well.

I believe the weather you have been having has been good for rising bread Jamberie. My brother put in an air conditioner several weeks ago. I think I mentioned that he lives in Bungendore.

Yes, I remember he lives in Bungendore, it's a lovely area. We drove through there today.
The last week has been very good for bread proving, but because we have the air conditioning on, bread proving is a little difficult, unless I take it outside
