I urge Australian forum members to give their support to the Join Select Committee of the Senate's enquiry into Cybersafety for Seniors.  The terms of reference define Seniors as 55+ .  Please spread the word.  It only takes a few minutes to go to

and complete the online survey. 

Last year a billion dollars was lost by Australian seniors to fraudsters through identity theft and other scams.

The politicians want the true state of affairs to emerge in the data and so far according to the chair of the committee they have only had 500 responses.

Please participate and please spread the word, to make a safer environment for us to share online.

The chair reported yesterday that there is a great sense of common purpose across the parties on this topic, but that the senior survey hasn't attracted anything like the response of the children's one.
