No doubt this is an authentic recipe and it looks good on the table, but it was not a big hit. Of course it is just one to add colour and contrast, but having had the delicious Afghani Carrot Pickle from Devil of a Cookbook before, this simpler taste was a bit lacking for me.
I doubled the recipe but I shouldn't have as for a condiment there is plenty in the given recipe.
