Q about: Thermo Cookbook by Kim McCosker
« on: December 28, 2012, 11:48:47 pm »
Has anyone tried this?    She's one of the duo from the 4 Ingredients team.

I'm a little disappointed with the Full Steam Ahead book I received with the Thermie, and not confident enough to try and convert my own recipes next, so will definitely be having a look through the books mentioned here.

Sorry realisation, rule 5.3 applies to this matter so I have deleted some of your information.

5.3 It is forbidden to mention prices of competitor products and accessories in this forum. If people want to know prices of such articles, then please use private messages to each other. We reserve the right to amend this rule at any time, without giving notice. You may however quote prices on food/drink, recipes, and other general domestic products (kitchenware, household goods etc), that do not directly affect Thermomix and it's accessories.

In answer to your question though, I have not heard a good report regarding that book.

I have had that book for a couple of months, haven't used it once. Found some errors/omissions in the recipes.  A few things looked interesting, but I'm not sure it was a great purchase. There is a photo of a risotto in there that I've wanted to post for a while because it looks horrid, but not sure if it's allowed.

Oh I'm sorry!  :-[  And thanks for the feedback!  I'm looking at purchasing some books through my consultant, but thought I would ask about that one.  Whoopsie!

I have the book and it's average at best.

I'd recommended Quick Fix in the Thermomix - it's a lovely book, with easy recipes that suit beginners and the more experienced.
