Crumble Topping
« on: March 03, 2013, 04:21:37 am »
This recipe , by Annabel Longbein, is adapted to TMX  .
I suggest you make 1/2 the recipe.

Place in TMX bowl

2 cups flour
1 cup of ground almonds
1 1/2 cups of brown sugar
2 cups rolled oats
2 teaspoons of mixed spice

Mix on reverse, speed 5 , 5 seconds.

Add 250 g. Melted better
1 cup of chopped or slivered almonds

Mix on reverse 5 seconds, speed 5.

Store in freezer if not using within the next week.

Thanks for this Chookie! I have some rhubarb in the fridge to stew, plus some already stewed apple, rhubarb and berries in the freezer. This will be perfect :D

Pleased to hear that Amy.  I picked our first Apple yesterday and topped it with crumble.  Delicious.
