Clever thinking CC. I do love your jug cover. I had an adopted Aunt from UK many years ago and she had a lot of these. I just don't see them over here. She and her husband and children came out in 1947/8. They worked on our farm for many, many years. Gorgeous people.

I've got three sizes of the covers Cookie,jam,jug and bowl size ;) I bought them years ago but quite common to buy here in the UK.It's funny how an object will jog fond memories of people :)
