Wholemeal Sour Dough crumpet with added Sesame Seeds

To a cup of Wholemeal SD starter add 2 teaspoons of Sesame seeds, and 1/2 teaspoon of Carb Soda.    When cooking in pan , sprinkle more sesame seeds on top.

Could brush pan and rings with Sesame seed oil.

These delicious SD crumpets are my downfall. I have no will power at all when I make them.

Cookie, I know what you mean about the crumpets.  I try to freeze them . But they toast very well frozen.
