That sounds dreadful. I haven't seen or heard any news today.
Keep safe friends.

Well DH and I are safe here in Cornwall. No damage at my DB house but haven't heard from DS whether our house in Bucks has damage. In the bad storm of 1987 we had a tree crash into the side of the house that we lived in at the time.We were very lucky that it just knocked off a few roof tiles and was easily mended.
Thank lovely people for thinking of us all here in the UK

The update on the news looks terrible. Hope you are all well and haven't suffered any damage.

I remember the storm of '87. It was a shocker! Stay safe over there. All of my immediate family live in Wiltshire. Dad said on the phone they were due a storm but didn't know it was going to be that bad. I better catch up on the news.
