As soon as I switch my Thermy on, the error message "Open" flashes on the screen and the audible sound that you hear when a stage finishes keeps sounding.
Any one had the same issue?
We have had the machine for about 3 Years.

I would reset the lid. That is take it off and put it back on making sure the lid is clicked to the left.

Thanks for your advice - had tried that but no Luck.
The "Open' message still flashes and the beeping still sounds even when the Jug is not even on the base.
As soon as I switch the power on it starts.....

Bev the trouble shooting on the manual says to turn the speed selector to open jug and then back to closed jug. If this does not fix then problem thenI would suggest you contact your consultant for further help regarding servicing etc.

Tried that also but with no luck. The Selector dial somehow also doesnt feel right.
Re Consultant, not sure who mine is now as the previous girl no longer does it.
We live in Gooseberry Hill.

Just ring HO then caver - Freecall 1800 004 838.
I had trouble with my selector just before the 2 year mark so had it fixed under warranty. Not sure what the problem was though as that was almost 3 years ago now I think.
