I just made these as a Valentines Day treat for my lovely DW. They smell and look great. I can't wait for them to cool enough to eat one.

I have just taken these out of the oven. They are ever so easy. Thanks for bumping it.

I made these yesterday and they are easy and yummy. However mine were very crumbly and break easy when eaten. Is that how they should be?

It must be the weekend for these biccies as I made them yesterday too. I doubled the recipe and used the zest of one orange. My butter was straight from the fridge, so I mixed on speed 5 for 10 seconds first. It made 31/2. Dozen. There are 2 missing from the photo as my niece turned up at just the right time.
. DH says that they are nice and buttery, and gives them the thumbs up.

These look really nice but it is too hot to put the oven on, maybe on Tuesday morning I could make them it's only going to be about 25, my best friend is bringing her Mum 91 over for lunch, she told me the food at the Hostel is crap and she would love a steak, so I'm going to get some scotch fillet tomorrow I,hope it is tender, I don't know about her teeth but I'm sure mine are getting blunt as my dear Mother used to say .
