Simple recipe however we didn't really find it filling enough for four and thinks it needs something else if having it for a main. The rice is quite soft and overcooked. Not sure why it has to cook for that long 8 +22 mins.
I didn't have fruit vinegar so substituted white wine vinegar. used cornflour for maize starch (should check the food glossary thread to see if this is correct), only had 15g soy sauce instead of 60g and used crushed pinapple from a tin as I didn't have fresh. I also didn't want to include soy bean sprouts so left that part out. It still tasted really nice after all this and was fine. I liked it appeals to my sweet tooth.
