How did it taste Sue? I've got some Clementines "way past their sell by date" to use up. ;) (Hally's budget challenge really gets into your head  :D :D :D)

It was nice and moist with a distinctive mandarin flavour. It was slighter bitter though as the whole fruit was used, but I sweetened the cream slightly and that made a nice counter balance. I took it to a friend's birthday dinner and everyone enjoyed it - even the kids.

Mine also didn't like exiting the bundt tin (perhaps too warm). It certainly is yummy and I enjoyed the smell of the mandarins cooking while I did my evening chores.

I was reminded of an episode of Gaspard and Lisa (kids tv) where the apple pie is damaged by the accidental consumption of a slice. The catastrophe was averted when it was realized that the pie could be served as individual slices before grandma found out.

I must admit that I have taken a slice out of a dessert and then sliced it up and spread it round the dish to cover it up! It's usually because someone really had to taste it. ( not me - kidlets!)
