Hot dog sausages in the thermomix?
« on: August 20, 2013, 03:30:18 am »
My son is having his 6th birthday this weekend.  We've hired out a gymnastics centre but have just found out that their kitchen facilities are limited to a microwave and hot dog machine.

We were going to do hotdogs (for the 20+ kids), but I'm thinking it might be too much of a workout for the hot dog machine.

Can you steam frankfurters/cocktail sausages in the varoma or even boil them in the bowl?  If so, do they taste okay...and what are the instructions?

Thanks so much.

Cheers.

Monnie

Monnie I'm sure you could steam cocktail frankfurter in the Varoma and boil some in the basket at the same time.  They should taste the same as being boiled

Yes Snappy, that's what I would do.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Monnie, we had this problem once and pre cooked the hot dogs at home and then put them in a couple of thermos to keep them hot.
