I've never mastered proving the dough in my oven with the exception of the vienna loaf but that only uses a bowl of hot water. I've always found the oven stays too warm and the bread dry's out on the top before rising.

I have only made bread a few times & have a long way to go but at least I'm putting the correct amount of yeast in now bad my rolls aren't rocks anymore 😄

I also love the one minute bread from superkitchenmachine's blog, there's a thread on here somewhere.... Leave it to prove overnight, foolproof!

bread making and I have a love hate relationship try the Cobb loaf or Vienna *touch wood* I haven't had any problems with those 2 good luck it really is quite frustrating so I know how you feel ;D
