Saving a recipe
« on: February 07, 2014, 06:40:48 am »
If I find a recipe that I want to save and go back to later to try, is there a way I can do that, instead of writing everything down on paper.

Hi PP.. On my PC (which is still awaiting life saving surgery :(   ) I copy and paste into word and then save it to a folder on the desktop.  With iPhone or iPad I take a screen shot and save it in photos...

Don't know if that helps .. I know it can all become a bit overwhelming with all the fabulous recipes and all the tips and tweaks in the threads .  Maybe you can just keep a small notepad beside your computer and jot down the name of the recipe . Later you can then do a search from the forum's home page.  If you can't find it then just send out an SOS and the moderators or other members will be only too happy to help...

Pumpkin pie I used to print them, then I ended up with so many recipes waiting to be tried.
Now I have an iPad I use an app called snap recipes and this is a good way to store them.

I use springpad app for iPad.

Otherwise I print out and keep in a display folder.

I handwrite recipes out if need be.

What is springpad app please? I have snap recipes but this sounds interesting too.
