I'll definitely try that Snappy!

Great idea Astarra...if they freeze well, then even better! What a great special treat for a lunchbox!  ;D

I have some undipped donuts in the freezer now!  I'll let you know how they defrost on the weekend but I think they should be fine.

I bought a mini doughnut maker from Kmart for $12 when they had them on special abut 2 years ago and I make the kids 'normal' doughnuts as well as gluten free ones. Works perfectly each time. Ths recipe  is such a great standby one when hungry kids drop by!
would you mind sharing the Gluten free recipe? It is something my son misses so so much!

Made these today in a mini donut tray. Used half recipe with two eggs and piped into greased tray. Baked 10mins 180c. Not sure if they are the same result as the machine ones, but they tasted great. Made 36 minis.

They thaw great Astarra.

I now do coat half the batch in sugar and put the other half in a ziplock bag in the freezer.  They go straight from the freezer to lunch boxes, my kids can't get enough of these donuts, such a great recipe.

Actually, we don't hear much from Isi these days which is such a shame as some of my favourite recipes are hers - these donuts, Madeline's ..
