Thanks for posting the recipe. Will definitely give it a go. I just noticed Coles is selling their own brand of cornflour now which is gluten free and cheaper than the other brands.

Thanks for posting this recipe back Chookie. :-* I would like to try this when my SIL visits next month as she has started to eat gluten free. :)

I made this yesterday. It didn't look like the picture - but for some reason my bread never does! However it was super tasty. I also substituted Chia Seeds as I was out of Psyllium Husk.
It's pretty much been devoured by DH and I so a success I'd say!!

A fantastic accompaniment for soup.

megant,  the psyllium husks are essential to the texture and look of this bread.  Give it another go using the husks.

OK thanks :)

I definitely will try again this week, if it tastes better than this one I'll be a happy woman! Finding good gluten free bread recipes that don't have a thousand different ingredients is soooooo hard.

Cheers DJ.

DJ I bought my psyillium husks from an Asian grocery stall but Healthy Supplies sell it and they post. ;)

Chookie do you need to grind the psyillium husks or they go in as they are?

Wonder,  I think the ones I used were already ground.  Dan says that the psyllium is essential for the texture.  Wonder I have been thinking that you might be able to sub 1/2 of the corn flour with ground up quinoa grain or flakes to get something similar to that expensive loaf that you are buying.

Thanks Chookie, I'm away this weekend but might give it a try the following and see how it works out.
