Tips/Hints:I got this out of a magazine sitting on a shelf in a caravan park and have just converted it for the thermo mix. The result I got from the TMX was better than on any other occasion that I've made it. I've used more maple syrup than what the original recipe called for but everyone likes my version better. Go easy on the chilli powder...last time I accidently put in 2 tablespoons and the grandkids weren't too pleased
but if you like hot hot food it is
good. These nuts are great for nibbles at any time. Should be eaten cold but we like them hot out of the oven too. The recipe originally stated that they can be made 2 days ahead and stored in an airtight container, but I've taken them on camping trips and they were OK a week later although they don't usually last that long.
