Orange and Chocolate Nut Cluster Cereal. KIS page 167
« on: February 07, 2014, 09:27:28 am »
I am never going to make this again.  8)I made it a while ago and while I have been making dinner I have nibbled away almost half of it. It is absolutely delicious and I love it. It's quite easy to make. It was very soft when I finished cooking it but it firmed up when I left it in the oven.
This would be perfect anywhere. I can imagine me chomping on it as we drive.
Tenina you have done it again.
Definitely 5/5

I didn't put coconut in it as D H says he doesn't like it.  :-\

It's all gone. I left it in a jar on the cupboard and DH and I have been helping ourselves.

This is very nice.  Just one tweak - I grated the orange zest and set aside before I did anything else.  Mine overcooked just a little on the second baking - next time (and there will be a next time!) I will watch it more carefully.  We enjoyed it sprinkled on top of fresh cut up fruit, topped with plain yoghurt (homemade in TM of course!), and a very small drizzle of maple syrup.  We don't eat packaged cereals for breakfast anymore - so this was another  welcome  alternative.

I actually grated my zest with my zester before hand. I always do this as I find it is finer.
