Hi,
« on: July 31, 2014, 11:14:45 pm »
Hi, I have just joined this forum.
I must admit it has taken me about 12 months to learn to love my thermomix.
I have made many mistakes and blitzed things too much and ended up with mush, but hey
I am getting there and have found a few yummy recipes and wish to learn more from more experienced thermometers

Hello Robyn, it's a pity your TMX went unloved for 12 months but I'm glad to hear you are back on track now. You have certainly come to the right place for some inspiration -  you only have to look at the pictures in What are you cooking today or What's for dinner in the Chit Chat section or search our recipe sections and read the reviews of some of the recipes.  Did you enlist the help of your consultant to get you going in the right direction, what was it that finally turned things around for you?    Join in the fun, this is a very friendly forum. We welcome all newcomers and hope they will become regular contributors.

Welcome Robyn. As Judy has said this forum is very inspirational for thermomix users. When you make something if you have any dramas just ask on here. We almost have 24/7 help here.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Hello Robyn and welcome. We've all turned things into mush. The last time I tried to make smashed potatoes I made mashed potatoes!

Hi Robyn . . and a very warm welcome to the forum!! You wouldn't be the first to experience this.  This forum was a lifesaver for me . . . just keep going and you'll become more in tune with your tmx and before long you won't know how you managed without it . . ;D ;D

If you haven't explored these threads already do take a look at the list of CreamPuff63's Favourites - all tried, true and linked!

http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6470.0

and http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=13567.0  - Chelsea's recipes have been very popular - take a look at the stroganoff and then scroll down a little to see some more of her wonderful contributions.

Dare I say you really need no more than your TMX and the forum!! ;D ;D ;D
