Can you buy a Lid seal ?
« on: December 17, 2014, 10:45:43 pm »
I have a TM31 that's almost 5 years old and I have two bowls, I need a new set of blades for one bowl but I really desperately need new lid seals, I have been watching the web site for about 6 weeks now and they are not listed, I rang about four weeks ago and was told that due to the seal problem there were none available and they would be on the site when they do get them. Nothing has turned up in the TM shop. One of my seals is so bad that I almost end up with more liquid on the bench than in the bowl, annoying and potentially dangerous. Anyone know whats happening about seals?

PS my are just worn out not the "faulty" ones

I needed a new seal for my TM31 too, and couldn't find them on the website.  I rang this number:  1800 004 838 and ordered one over the phone and had it posted yesterday.  I think it was $15 for the seal and $7 postage, so you might want to get a couple while you are there!

I was an orphan within about a week of buying my thermomix , but then I was adopted by Kathryn and then by Meagan. I'm a lucky non orphan.  ;D

Hy ladies, i know it might mbe a bit painful, but if you jump over on the Thermomix webste and fill out the contact details form they will get a consultant, local to you, to give you a call.  Thats how it worked for me!  ;)  Orphan no longer.
