Recipe Review:  Tropical Endive Green Smoothie p74 Mini Series 2

I have been doing Alyce's 7 day smoothie challenge, with a different green smoothie every day.  This one is my favourite so far.  It is fresh tasting with a beautiful creamy texture.  To make it easier in the morning, I chopped the pineapple and mango up the night before, and washed the endive leaves.  If I was to do everything in the morning, it would take too long for me to get done and cleaned up before work.  A delicious smoothie that even the kids have asked me to make again!

I'll have a look at that one Karen, I bought a pineapple yesterday and have a mango starting to wilt in the fruit bowl.

My book arrived on Wednesday. Some of the things in there look nice. Do you replace your breakfast with the smoothie Karen?

I tried to the first day Cookie, but I was starving well before morning tea time.  I am used to having a couple of eggs for breakfast, and the smoothie doesn't fill me up the same as the eggs do, or last as long.

If having a smoothie for a meal I find that I need a piece of toast with a smoothie as I need something solid, otherwise I feel empty straightaway

Try adding coconut cream or cream.  Fat really does nourish. Skinnymixer has a nice blueberry one on her blog.

Thanks Bedlam - good hint.  I make the coconut yoghurt from Skinnymixers blog - I will try adding some of that.
