Of course Karen, how could we forget one of our earliest members.  What have you been doing?

Hi Karen. How are things? It's lovely of you to drop by.

hello judy and cookie!

I was looking for the stock concentrate recipe and google brought me here so i thought I'd say hi. I haven't been cooking much these days, but slowly getting back into it.

life is crazy for me - i separated from my husband 2 years ago so am a single mum now (have the kids 8 days / fortnight). the youngest was also diagnosed with autism and adhd. I've received many diagnoses myself and have a lot of issues with pain and fatigue so life can be a struggle at times. i try to eat a paleo / AIP diet to manage my health and the tmx is a big help, hence i'm back :)

how are you both?

Good to see your name pop up, Karen.  You were still posting on here when I first joined the forum and I enjoyed your posts.  Sorry to hear that things have been challenging - and still are tough for you.  Take care.

Life is never easy, harder for some than others.  I hope your new diet is doing the trick, enjoy the 8 days you have the kids.  It's great for the kids that you are co-parenting.

My DH has been in a nursing home for 3 years and Mum joined him there 12 months ago.  All good though, I have no complaints as they are both happy there and I visit them most days anyway.  Not much cooking to do now it's just me!

Life has certainly thrown you a few curve balls Karen. Health issues can be a real hazard to life.
Nothing much has changed here, just a few years older and a little more grey hair.
