Hi all
New to the forums, was wondering if anyone had a good chicken laksa recipe for the thermomix?
Hoping to feed 6-8, cheers!

Welcome geetrin - don't have one on hand, but if nobody comes forward with one then we can convert for you.

Hi & welcome geetrin.  I actually started typing one from Take 5, converting as I went.  It was a simple prawn laksa (easier than most laksa recipes I've done on the stove-top) and you could substitute chicken for prawns.  However, I was guessing times and would prefer to do it myself before posting it.  I can cook it tomorrow though when I am babysitting at DD's place - they can have it for tea.  I'm sure someone will come up with something in the meantime but, if not, I'll get back to you later tomorrow evening when I get home. I had this recipe cut out wanting to do it anyway before the summer arrives and soups take a back seat to BBQ's.

Geetrin, I have posted my conversion in the Soup section. Quick and easy, not as elaborate as some laksas. DH was my taste-tester and it passed with flying colours. I made a not so hot version but you can make it as hot as you want and add other things too if you feel like it.

Looks good to me JD - it is the basic idea that one needs and them you can embelish.

DH asked if there was anymore the other day (after I had given half of it away and he had eaten the rest). Reheated the next day, it was nice and thick and he loved it. You could double the recipe I'm sure - way to go.
