I made this for dinner last night. Lovely recipe. I doubled the mixture as I had kids and a friend coming at short notice.
Served with salad and mixed some taco seasoning through butter to spread on a French stick to make Mexican bread.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Have posted the sliced picture to show how the layers worked.

I liked it but had a divided table on the bread - about 50/50.

I made this last night.  I really enjoyed it but there way too much mixture for my flan tin and it got a bit messy.  :(  The 'dough' mixture was very runny. Is this correct?  ???

Yes it is den. Bit like a crepe batter. What size dish did you use?

I didn't measure it Kimmyh but it was pretty close to 24cm. It is a flan or tart pan wit fluted edges and a removable base.

I know the one you mean den and it's probably not deep enough. I use a ceramic flan dish that is almost an inch deep and much deeper than my quiche tin which has the removable base. Maybe you could halve the mixture next time to suit your tin  or make two?
