That would have been more fun that where I was...a room full of frazzled uni students madly working through various exams.

Oops TMXer it wasn't the Melbourne Cup-sorry. (you will see in a later post). What rotten luck being ill on a public holiday. Get well soon.

Public Holiday!!  >:( Ha! Not in WA...
I went to a luncheon in out little town and had to model in the fashion parade. :-)) It was really poorly attended and I couldn't even have a drink as I had to go and pick up my beautiful puppy from the vet. He was run over on the weekend by a visitor. (He's OK, just needs lots of rest)

Rambo:
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Oh he is so beautiful. He reminds me of my girl that I had for 18 1/2 years

yes Melbourne Cup is a little over rated here in WA and not all functions are well attended because we don't get the public holiday  :-))

Glad to hear he is OK - yes Melbourne stops for the Cup.  It has become an unofficial long weekend as so many (especially schools) now take the Monday (and some also the Friday) as an RDO (or correction day) and so the caravan parks were full at the weekend along the coast.
