Thawing Meat/Fish in Varoma
« on: September 24, 2008, 01:29:53 am »
Today's tip from Germany (sorry I keep forgetting to look).

If you have forgotten to take your schnitzel/fish fillets out of the freezer, then place them in the Varoma and gently steam them while cooking other items and the meat/fish will gently thaw.

The original in case somebody can confirm/contradict:

Guten tag  ;)

I was wondering if you can thaw chicken this way or is it deemed too risky?

I would think chicken would be too risky Kate - not worth taking a chance from everything I've read.
