Hello
« on: December 11, 2009, 03:50:27 am »
Hi, I'm Carrie and I'm awaiting delivery of my TMX any day now. :D

I have a mischievous 2.5 year old son, a messy ex-(almost)chef DP and one furry baby, a Maltese.

We avoid food additives as much as possible and I'm so looking forward to that being easier when our new baby arrives.
I've got all my shopping lists done and look forward to preparing Christmas gifts when the TMX arrives. :D

Glad to be here, I love this forum already... I've been lurking for a few weeks.  ;)

Welcome Carrie - sure you'll have fun.  Is that a DP almost finished as a chef or almost ex-DP who is a chef?  Might get them back into being a chef with the TMX.

Welcome Carrie, this Christmas is going to be extra special for you with all the fun you and almost-ex-chef DP are going to have cooking up a storm.  Nice to know a silent lurker has finally come out and joined us.  Sounds like you are going to very busy making your Christmas gifts once your TMX arrives so it is a good thing you have your lists made and are ready to go.

Oh sorry to be confusing!
He almost finished as a Chef but he just doesn't enjoy it, so he has no interest in finishing. He does love to cook at home though. :D

Fingers crossed for a quick arrival!! It took me a while to work out what DP meant, but I worked it out!! ;D
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
