Isi, that looks wonderful!  I love the idea of raspberry & apple, another combo to try.  I'm so glad you liked it, thankyou for reporting back.  ;D

Isi, that makes me hungry.

JulieO I made this yesterday. The taste is really lovely and the pastry was easy to work even though it was very hot. (I just had to be quick) I did make one mistake though. I put all the fruit mix in, thinking 'oh, my tin is big enough'. Well it wasn't. I had to clean the oven, floor and everything else. I also found that mine seemed to have juice left after cooking.  Possibly because I had put too much fruit in.  Next time I make it I'll be a little more careful.  Everyone loved it though.

Glad that you liked it Cookie.  First time I make anything I usually find things that I will change the next time and make notes for myself.

Frozen berries can give out a fair bit of liquid, but maybe because I didn't overfill my tin and it wasn't completely covered in pastry  allowed it to dry off enough so I didn't have that happen to me?  Not to worry, I'm sure you'll perfect it to suit yourself next time.  Thanks for reporting back.  :D

Thanks for posting this recipe.   I made one recently from Stephanie's new book.  The filling was terrific but the pastry was equal amounts of butter and flour.   It was easy to handle and tasted great,  but the thought of all that butter ruined the experience.   I will certainly try this.

The recipe looks fab and I will be trying soon. I am waiting for delivery of my Bimby and in the mean time looking for TMX versions of things I make. In this case  needed the TMX details to make pastry and this was just what I was looking for. This web is just terrific for any newbie to the Bimby.
