What to take to a Christmas Brunch?
« on: November 26, 2012, 11:17:23 am »
So this year will be very busy for Christmas.

We start the day with church, followed by brunch at relatives house, followed by lunch elsewhere and finally dinner at yet another place.

I'm not sure what to take along to the brunch and since I will be interstate...will not have a Thermomix. Any ideas? Preferably something simple and easy. Just don't know what's considered brunch.

Tasty are you able to do any cooking or are you going to buy something, if cooking how about some mini pancakes (savory piklets)  topped with creamed cheese and smoked salmon.

Savoury - Amy's mini quiches can be made easily without a thermomix.  Or a fruit platter.

Sweet - a cake or cookies.  Make some lemon curd at home, take with you and just buy some little tartlets shells from the supermarket and fill - delicious little lemon tarts - quick, easy and very popular!  Johnro cookies and cream fudge or Raras cherry bites?
