Wonderful to "meet" you Jennifer!!  :D

The TMX will make a huge difference in your cooking... ask me I know how!  ;)

Welcome Jennifer. Your children are all of a perfect age for the thermomix. The older 2 will be able to use the TMX themselves as well as reap the health benefits with their 3 younger siblings. It's a great investment so congrats on a very wise choice.  ;D ;D

Hi Jennifer, welcome to the forum.  Handy having a DH who likes to cook, especially when you have your hands full with the children.  Not sure what you meant by having to get the steamer - the TMX comes complete with the varoma steaming dish & tray and also the steaming basket which fits inside the bowl.

yes the varoma steamer is included in the price, so you may as well tell your consultant to bring around a brush $5 (to make cleaning easier) and a mat $60 if you can afford it. You'll use both a lot.

Welcome Jennifer!

I think your consultant should throw in the brush since you bought all the cookbooks!  ;D
Hope you don't have to wait too long for your new baby to arrive....
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Welcome Jennifer. Waiting for the TMX to arrive is the hardest part. After that it just gets easy. Be sure to check out the Recipe Review section to see what people have made out of the various books and to see how the recipes have been tweaked so you can take that into consideration before making the recipe. Have fun. Look forward to hearing more from you as you enjoy you new cooking adventures.

Welcome Jennifer.  You and your family are in for a very exciting time. I thought I loved cooking, but then when I got my TMX I  went even madder in the kitchen.
