Jo, I'm so glad that you pointed me to that great blog! I've joined the forum too.
Love your kitchen...

Thanks!
It's a good blog isn't it? She's apparently writing a book at the moment - my friend Mama Bel is writing a chapter or two!

Well, guess what? I'm packing up my little kitchen... we're moving - sniff sniff
But at least my next kitchen will be a little bigger!
This is a bit of an unexpected move (we won't be moving too far away), so I've got 1 1/2 weeks to pack! Eeek!!

Good luck with the move Jo and hope your new kitchen meets with your expectations. It certainly won't take long to pack up the old one and if I were you, I would hang a photo of it in my new kitchen as it will provide you with many happy memories of all the cooking you have done in it.

Good luck Jo. At least with the move happening so fast you don't have time to dwell on it

Thanks guys! You're right VHJ, it's all happened so quickly I don't have time to stress!! Last time it took us ages to find a suitable house - very stressful! We're working towards having our own place again but haven't quite got it all together yet, so we'll be staying at this next place til we can, hopefully!
Good idea about the photo in the kitchen, JD - last time I just kept remembering my friends travelling around Australia in a big bus with 9 kids, and how tiny their kitchen was, and that kept me thankful for my 'bigger' kitchen! The new one doesn't have a dishwasher, CC, but never mind - it's a good 'character building' excercise for the kids!!
The best thing about the new house is that it's only two doors down from my mum and dad!! The kids are so excited! (Very handy for babysitting while I'm at demos!!)

Ha ha - no Tmxer, there's still a couple of boxes of books n stuff sitting around! But I'm re-sorting, hoping to get rid of more stuff! Hopefully there won't be another move in the near future - you know what they say, "Three moves equals a fire!"
