I agree with both of you. If you a thinking of a machine have a demo by all means, even two if need be. Quite often people need to be sure, especially with that sort of money. One of my friends at my demo party is definitely buying one, she just has to wait for a bit.
Some young people at DD's work were thinking of buying one and I think she put them off.
I told her to let them have a demo first and then if they are unsure to come round to our place one weekend. She will only use it for mixing drinks, crushing ice, pasta and rice. It seems to be flavour of the month with a lot of her friends, then it sits on the bench and eventually the cupboard. Very sad.
