Hi,

Finally saved enough to get the TM, and waiting in quiet expectation for another 5-7 days.

I seem to be one of the minority at the moment, being a male (husband and father of 4), but have been reading this forum for quite a while now and cannot wait to get the machine and try out the recipes.

Hi DJ, welcome to the forum.  Nice to have another male member join us - hope you have fun when you get your machine.  The waiting is going to be terrible but it will give you plenty of time to choose some recipes from the forum & get your ingredients in so that you will be all ready to cook up a storm in a week or so.

Thanks Judydawn,

I already have several chosen from months of drooling over the forum.

I decided we needed to take the plunge after our latest arrival. (a little girl 4 weeks old) Hopefully it will make life happier for  DW.

Good on you DJ, I'm sure your DW will love having a TMX, especially if you are going to be using it too. Congrats on your latest arrival. Do let us know how you get on and what you find to make.

If truth be known, it is really for me, but I can use DW as an excuse.

welcome DJ, you are going to have a blast with this machine! this is perfect timing with your baby - as by the time it is starting on solids you should be a TM pro. As you know one of the hardest things is getting a meal together at the end of the day, and you will soon find this less of a hassle.
